"All I ask of food is that it doesn't harm me."
- Michael Palin

We recently moved to Seattle. Seattle has some great food. There's a great fish market here called Mutual Fish, and, of course the pike place market. The Whole Foods Market is ginormous. There's also some good restaurants. We sometimes walk over to our neighborhood Italian joint, Cafe Lago. We're also fond of brunch at Etta's. When we're in the mood for sushi we hit Nishino's. The best steak I've had here was at Dahlia Lounge, but friends say we need to try Cafe Juanita too. (11/19/01 Update - Laura took me to Cafe Juanita for my birthday - it was excellent from start to finish.) There's also a really good Indian restaurant down the street called Chutney's.

One thing we like even more than going out to eat is to cook. Seattle has tons of great ingredients from Salmon to great produce and fruit. This summer has been an absolute grill fest for us. We just got our gas weber last spring and we're put over 60lps of propane through it already. And if that weren't enough I helped some of my firends build our own convection oven for a party we had.

Here are some of the recipes I'm keeping track of since they're sooooo tasty...
